The present study is based on 2D and 3D seismic surveys with higher fold conducted in previous years, which provided a substantial amount of new factual data. As a result, an up-to-date depth map of the Vendian Top was built, which was used as the basis for further tectonic zoning, stratigraphic imaging, and creation of field models. The proposed tectonic framework does not contradict previous versions by other authors but refines them up to fourth-order elements, clarifies the boundaries of the Angara fold zone, and updates the structure of the Vendian–Cambrian interval. The field models created made it possible to analyse parameters describing the structure of hydrocarbon accumulations and to identify the main patterns of their variation within the study area. Thus, terrigenous reservoirs predominate in the western part, while carbonate reservoirs prevail in the eastern part. From the Abakansky field in the north-west to the Beryambinsky in the south-east, the lower boundary of the commercial gas-bearing horizon gradually rises from the Vendian Nepsky level to the Cambrian Elgyansky.
